Marist teachers are called into work as vocation. They are inspired, formed and informed by three assumptions:
A Mission
Marist Catholic High School is a Christ-centered, welcoming community committed to academic excellence and preparing students to lead and serve others.
A Charism
The Mission of Marist Catholic High School is brought to life through a charism that is most succinctly captured by the school motto “We Are One,” and includes these key qualities: family spirit, fidelity to faith in Jesus Christ, zeal, justice., and calling. The charism enlivens the school’s mission, dynamically embodied in the people who walk the halls.
An Academic Culture
The calling of this mission and charism is to a specific ministry of education, and so we commit ourselves to a culture of academic excellence. It is a culture of depth based in a distinct Catholic intellectual tradition that pursues knowledge of God and truth through academic disciplines. This life-giving pursuit is characterized by students and teachers who are disciplined, engaged, ethical, and precise.
