The iPad has potential to become more than a simple replacement for notebooks and textbooks, but can become an "object to think with".  With the iPad students can mess around with ideas, information, hunches, and guesses and transform them into something tangible. With the iPad there are more tools and options than ever before for students to transform what they know and understand into artifacts.  ​
