WORKFLOWS
WHAT IS A WORKFLOW?
The iPad has a great deal of potential to make your work as a teacher simpler, easier and more effective. It also has the potential to make your work messier, more difficult, and ineffective. While there will likely be a learning curve in using the iPad as a teacher, planning and thinking through your integration ahead of time is worthwhile if you wish to use this tool to its full potential.
At their most basic level, “Workflows” attempt to to simplify and/or improve routine tasks by integrating those actions with iPad and Application functions.
At a more advanced level, “workflows” can help teachers and students re-imagine new ways of learning and instruction that would not be possible without the technology. (We will cover this later this year and next year as the rollout continues to our student body.)

EXAMPLES
The following examples are intended to help you imagine possibilities. These are not intended to be seen as suggested institutional practices. The best place to find examples of workflows is to talk to other teachers.
